Description With the advent and proliferation of the internet, crowdfunding in its modern sense became feasible,and has seen a significant rise in popularity over recent years.Two main forms have proliferated; crowdfunding can take the form of a donation to a particular cause or as a loan on a Peer to Peer or Peer to Business agreement.This early form of crowdfunding gave enthusiasts and fans a way of showing their support,but offered very little in return,other than perhaps the chance to hear another studio album,get tickets to the latest concert or simply gain a sense self gratification.
