Applits.com Holds First Ever Voting Week: Users Can Decide What App is Developed Next
Starting at 12:01 a.m. on July 25th, Applits LLC kicked off its first ever voting week. Voting week is when smartphone owners around the world come together on the Applits website (http://applits.com) to vote on what app idea they want to see developed next. The app that receives the most votes by the end of voting week will be deemed the winner, and the submitter of that idea wins a $1500 prize. This is the first time that the everyday smartphone user is able to directly influence what piece of software an app development company will next bring to life on their mobile device.

Marcellus, New York (PRWEB) July 26, 2012 Applits LLC (http://applits.com) is holding its first ever voting week which started on July 25th at 12:01 a.m. During voting week, site users will be given the chance to vote on the app ideas that they want to see turned into real apps. Submitters of app ideas are encouraged to tell their friends to vote on their idea to increase their chances of winning. Voters are allowed to vote on each app idea once, and are given 10 votes total in order to ensure that only the best ideas are voted on. Voting week also involves much more than just voting. In addition to voting, Applits community members will be able to add comments and suggestions to the submitted app ideas. Applits welcomes well thought out comments and suggestions for supplemental features, and they are thanked with monetary rewards of $10 to $20. Supplemental ideas that receive a high amount of upvotes will be taken into consideration when developing the app.

This gives the community a chance to mold the ideas into exactly what they want to see in the app should it win the overall competition. “Voting week is very exciting for us. We get to see everyone come together and vote on these great ideas that we have had submitted throughout the last month. Both my co-founder, Keith Shields, and I are excited to see what people have to say as far as supplemental comments go, and what ideas get the most attention. I would also like to point out that Applits members are still able to submit app ideas, however these ideas will be entered into next month’s competition and not the current one” stated co-founder and CFO Joshua Tucker.
