Summary Tapping into their technology backgrounds and entrepreneurial expertise, Roger Toennis and Alex Montoya decided to use internet CrowdFunding. CrowdFunding pools together small donations from many people to raise money for a shared goal: in this case - financial relief for medical treatment, travel and memorials for the survivors and families involved in the Aurora tragedy.
Description Roger explains that they chose START.ac “because they do not charge a fee for disaster relief projects and the site encourages charitable projects.”

Alex adds that “all of the donations will go to the community except for MasterCard / VISA / AMEX processing fees."
