Crowdsourcing a Marketing Plan: A $1,000 Shared Prize up for Grabs
The team at PieceWise has built an awesome tool (in our completely objective opinion). It allows you to crowdsource any type of project plan and is perfect for plans where you don’t have much experience in the area (like building a super car). The plans are open-source so anyone can reuse the pieces of it to build out their own project plans (think about how “making chocolate chip cookies” is just a sub-project of a catering plan). We’ve spent months building it, figuring out the logic for how to crowdsource a project plan, simplifying the interface (iteration #5 baby!), and testing it. We’ve run case studies and gotten plenty of feedback. But we’re technical founders. We built something great; how the heck do we tell the world about it? This isn’t a new situation. Lots of founders have had this exact problem. But the information for how to solve this problem is disjointed and spread across the entire web where the only way to find it is with successful search queries. Blah! But wait! Didn’t we build this tool to solve just our problem? If we could crowdsource the marketing plan, it would be available for anyone to see and reuse. They wouldn’t have to spend hours searching the web. Enter the $1,000 PieceWise Marketing Campaign Prize Project, a project sponsored by PieceWise to crowdsource amazing marketing ideas and how to implement them. If you have ideas, you should sign up and contribute! The more you contribute, the greater your share of the $1,000. And hey, if you need help with marketing, you could contribute a few dollars. The project can be found at https://www.piecewise.com/fbIdeas.php?ProjectID=2.
