DesignCrowd CEO Alec Lynch said, "We believe TimesSquare.com's $10,000 prize was the largest ever for an online logo contest and the first time an online logo crowdsourcing has received over 5,000 submissions for a client. The project is a fantastic case study in crowdsourcing and really highlights the power and creativity of the crowd."
The success of the TimesSquare.com logo contest follows a strong period of growth for DesignCrowd which had launched in Canada earlier this year. In the last 12 months, DesignCrowd has also launched in the UK and New Zealand, received a $3M investment from Starfish Ventures.
