Flock is an app that takes all the photos snapped by different attendees at a social event and combines them into one album.
Created by California-based Bump Technologies, Flock “finds the photos you take together with friends and family and magically brings all the photos from each person’s phone together into a single shared album,” in the company’s own words. Users of the free app for iPhone simply take photos as they usually would using their phone’s camera app, making sure to enable geotagging. Flock then uses Facebook to work out which friends are in the photos and filter out strangers as it creates a shared album, drawing together all the photos taken by friends at the event.
