Infizar Crowdsourced Markets
August 18, 2012
Infizar uses crowdsourcing to bring you amazing items which are not, and will never be, online. With Infizar you can find unique hand crafts, gifts and home decor such as Thai wood carvings, handmade lamps, Teak wood furniture, Buddha statues and more. It is just like having every flea market on line. How does it work? Step 1: Infizar’s simple, free Android application allows tourists who stroll the market to take photos of items they like, add a short description with price and some basic details, and add the items to the store. Step 2: You shop Infizar.com. Here you can see items added from markets all over the world – from Bangkok’s enormous Chatuchak to Paris’ charming Clignancourt Antique market. You shop and checkout just like in any standard online store.
Step 3: After items are purchased, Infizar will issue a request to freelance buyers — usually locals living in the market area — which handle the purchasing and shipping. You will receive your purchase right to your door. Infizar looks and feels almost like any normal online store. But once you start looking around, you’ll quickly see that no other online store can give you the endless worldwide market of amazing, hard to find items, which you can now buy on Infizar.
