The band is asking fans to help get them over the top in order to expedite the recording and production of their new album and the launch of a national tour. Kickstarter, which aggregates contributions of as little as $1.00 from across the Internet, has helped revolutionize fundraising for artistic projects, musical ones in particular. But don’t think of Kickstarter contributions simply as donations – nothing could be further from the truth.
