WEBWIRE – Tuesday, August 07, 2012 LOS ANGELES, 7 August 2012 - The new movie production company Eleven Dragons Entertainment has just announced that they have launched a major Crowd Funding campaign to raise money for their first movie project named “Number 10”, which is a female-driven action film. “Crowd Funding” is a relatively new concept that allows ordinary people to participate in the movie production by contributing funds. In an interview Marjean Holden, the Producer of the "Number 10” film, says: “This is one of the most fantastic opportunities I have come across! IndieGoGo is an online platform that allows ANYONE to come up with something they want to raise money for, create a campaign, promote the campaign and then get funded. It is sheer brilliance! I wanted to fund a movie in this way about 10 years ago but didn’t know how. So now I’m REALLY excited that someone created the platform so that we can bring others into the film making process that normally wouldn’t have the opportunity.” Marjean Holden, is a Los Angeles based Producer-Writer-Actress, most widely recognized for her acting roles in such films as Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, The Philadelphia Experiment II, Hostage with Bruce Willis, and John Carpenter’s Vampires.

The story of the “Number 10” movie is written by the multi-talented Los Angeles based Writer-Director-Producer & Actor Michael Worth, who will also direct the film. His soon to be released drama "God’s Ears" has won him critical acclaim and numerous awards in the Independent Film world. “One thing that I have been wanting to do for awhile”, Worth says. “Is to do an action film that plays real time. 90 minutes with no departure or time jumps for the character and we as an audience participate in the adrenaline rush, pain, fear and all else that comes with the main character over this moment in her life. It will be a challenge but that’s why I’m here!” While the preparations for filming are progressing quite well, the movie needs funding of $97,000 to start principle photography. The “Number 10” campaign has just gone live on the popular crowd funding website Indiegogo.com seeking for funding from contributors around the world. As a thank you and greater incentive to movie contributors, the “Number 10” team has set up different monetary value contribution tiers with a variety of valuable perks. They range from Red Carpet events, special edition DVD’s, a private dinner with the stars, director and producers, to getting the contributors name in the final credits of the movie. Holden says, “With the outlet that is IndieGoGo, imagination and innovation create global opportunities for anyone to make their dreams come true”.
