Tuesday the 17 of July, Perfect Earth hit their goal capital: €80.000 was raised through equity-based crowdfunding on Symbid! 18 July: Rotterdam, Netherlands – Crowdfunding is growing at a rapid pace. In 2011 the industry size was $1.5 billion and that’s expected to increase by 60% in 2012. Different kinds of models are developing, the most important ones being donations-based crowdfunding, Peer-to-Peer lending and equity-based crowdfunding, of which Symbid is an example. The latter helped Perfect Earth reach its goal capital and create a pool of enthusiastic, engaged ambassadors.
