Typically I don't like to devote an entire piece solely to the latest milestones of a single platform, but in the case of this infographic from Elance celebrating its first $500 million of work done, I made an exception. It's a significant accomplishment for one of the oldest cloud labor platforms, and breaking down the numbers also serves to paint a pretty interesting snapshot of where the industry stands right now, if only through the lens of Elance.
