This free event is part of EarlyShares’ 24/24 Nationwide Crowdfunding Educational Roadshow. Founded in 2011, EarlyShares launched its national roadshow, visiting 24 cities in 24 weeks, to educate local business owners and guide investors, entrepreneurs and local media on how equity-based crowdfunding can benefit their community. The August 29th event is open to everyone looking to fund a startup and/or invest in new or growing businesses. EarlyShares’ CEO and an equity-based crowdfunding pioneer, Maurice Lopes, will present and answer questions on how this brand new type of funding will soon build businesses and grow investment portfolios. The company is working in conjunction with Innovation Works, one of the nation’s most active seed-stage investors, contributes capital, business expertise and other resources into high-potential companies.
