In mere hours here in the United States, we'll officially begin our 4th of July Independence Day festivities. These days, since we've been reunited in friendship with our former imperial overlords in Britain for many generations, the tradition revolves around spending a day relaxing around the grill with friends and family before capping it all off with massive pyrotechnic displays and hoping none of them cause anyone to lose a limb or burn down a forest.
But our fearless leader Carl Esposti is celebrating from afar this year, from the Crowdsourcing Conference in Sao Paulo, which is just now wrapping up. He sent along this photo from Brazil and we're posting it here as our way of saying Happy 4th of July, Canada Day, Bastille Day and whatever else you're celebrating wherever you are this month. There's probably more we should be remembering, but we're still recovering from the the July 2nd celebration of "I Forgot Day" (yes, that's a real thing.)
