2,800 crowdsourcing and crowdfunding sites
Recently, I visited Local Motors' micro-factory in Arizona to see first-hand how the company uses its unique community (30,000 strong), platform and business model to co-create niche vehicles for worldwide brands like BMW.
While there, I sat down with CEO and Co-Founder John "Jay" Rogers just off the production floor for a wide-ranging discussion about the Local Motors' co-creation process, the future and potential for crowdsourcing.
