Star Citizen from Cloud Imperium Games Corporation has just become the latest Kickstarter project to raise over a million dollars, more than doubling its original fundraising crowdfunding goal.
Kickstarter has been around for about 3 and a half years now, but all 14 (15 counting Star Citizen) 7-figure projects -- including the top campaigns for Pebble and Ouya -- have come in 2012.
