As part of an MBA in digital marketing here in Brazil I am looking for the most interesting examples of crowdsourcing in four areas in order to share with our group;
- Religious
- Political
- Economic
- Social
I am especially interested in examples of crowdsourcing for political and religious purposes since they seem to be harder to find. Examples can be success stories or failures, as long as they are interesting to share. Would really appreciate feedback.
Regards,
Barry
Hey Barry,
Red Blue Voice specializes in the crowdsourced distribution and creation of your political and social advocacy. We're a small startup just getting started, but we think what we are doing is important and interesting. It's important because there is no practical way for individuals or small groups of individuals to compete with big money politics. It's interesting because once you follow it through to its conclusion, it has the ability to refresh and reinvigorate global democracy. You can read all about our exploits at blog.redbluevoice.com. We'd be happy to answer any specific questions you might have. Just shoot us an email to info@redbluevoice.com.

Hi Barry,
Based in Washington, D.C., The Center for Responsive Politics tracks money in U.S. politics and its effects on the nation and public policy. Our award winning website is the most comprehensive resource for federal campaign contributions, lobbying data and campaign finance analysis. We do not have information on political parties or campaigns outside of the U.S., but if you want to use America as a case study, we'd be a great reference for you.

Hi Barry, at ujimaa which is a social crowdfunding platform for Christian based projects (i.e. faith based) whether you are an individual or a charity you can use our platform to build a campaign, engage your supporters and to see your funding goal reached.
We launched in March of this year and our excited to give Christians a forum to pitch their ideas. Since launch we've continued to deploy and improve the platform. Most recently we've reworked the overall design and soon will be releasing a key functionality that will be incorporated in the core of our product that will truly differentiate us for the faith based community; really exciting!
In addition to our core product we provide customized white label solutions to larger faith based projects. A clear example is our partnership with the Executive Producers for The Resurrection Movie; what many are calling the sequel to the Passion of The Christ (www.myresurrectionproject.com)
If you'd like to have a more detailed interview we'd be more than happy to assist. Feel free to reach me directly. Fernando Chavez at fchavez@ujimaa.com
