Well since investment-based crowdfunding (debt & equity) is not legal yet, ours hasn't grown at all. However we are putting partnerships in place so that when the platform is approved and we can take down the "coming soon" page, traffic will grow quickly.

Hi, thanks for ask me. So, the site will be launch in the final of the august... i don't have datas about this. But my expectation is that in the first year we will have more than 300.000 unique visitors.

  • Paul Niederer Paul Niederer Jul 25, 2012 03:45 am GMT

We have had around 50,000 individual visits and 900,000 hits per month for quite a while now. My guess it wont change much in the next few months until legislation changes.

Hi, since April, we made four times more visitors per day, which is over than our 2012 expectation. Our objective for 2013 is to reach 200.000 unique visitors

iPledg launched in late January this year and, as such, has experienced exponential growth over that time. Given that we are launching version 2.0 in around 5 weeks, we expect the additional functionality, combined with increasing exposure, should see continued strong growth for at least the next year.

We have a lot of interest in pre sign ups from both investors and startups. We expect significant increases once users are able to utilize the portal and make investments!

Exciting Times!! We have seen similar growth. We have just surpassed the 40,000 unique visitor mark and continue to see growth on a weekly basis. Can't wait to see the explosion when equity crowdfunding rules are finalized in 2013.
We continue to look for partners with the goal of growing the interest in crowdfunding, if interested please reach out.

EquityNet's traffic has nearly doubled since April due to many articles regarding our pioneering and patented position in the equity crowdfunding space. We've been developing our platform since 2005 and it's terrific to see the domain finally taking off.

Invesdor was launched in May 2012 to serve Nordic Countries with equity based crowd funding. Growth has been exponential within the last few months of our existence and we are really excited about the interest generated!

Our traffic has increased by just over 900% since April which we're very happy about (launched in Dec 2011).

Our development team are working on a whole range of great new features which we're excited about and that, combined with continued promotion, should continue the upwards traffic trend.

We are still publicly only a gifts/rewards site so the equity announcements have not had a big effect. However, we are still in the half million monthly users range and up 300% from start of year.

At SoMoLend, we have a debt platform that has been operational since December, 2011. Immediately following the signing of the JOBS Act, we won a pitch competition in New York and Best of Show at Finovate in San Francisco. As a result, we've seen a huge bump in traffic, but cannot attribute that to any specific event.

At Symbid (www.symbid.com), we've experienced a 310% increase in visits in Q2, 2012 compared to Q1. Symbid serves investors in Europe to make equity-investments in new or existing companies. The growth rate is in line with our expectations and continuous to grow. The increase in visits resulted in the successful funding of yet another 3 projects for a total amount of 440.000 Euro. A great achievement for us as platform as well as the entrepreneurs who initiated these campaigns.

For Q3 we will launch a revolutionary new hybrid model, combining equity investments with donations, expanding Symbid's global reach, therefore we expect an increase in visitors for Q3 as well.

    Hi Howard,
since April we are growing at a 50% monthly rate. We are less than a year live in Argentina.
Our monthly traffic expectations for 2013 are between 50k and 70k.
    Best, Guido

We've seen a big boost in traffic but its hard to pin point how much has been influenced by DC...vs . our own marketing efforts. We expect our traffic to exponentially grow in the months to come. Keeping crowdfunding in the media surely doesn't help. So we thank uncle same for that!

Sorry...I meant to say that keeping 'crowdfunding' in the media surely doesn't 'hurt'.

Very exciting to see the traffic numbers you all have posted. Our site, TuneFund.com, a crowdfunding site targeting musicians that launched in March, is not getting traction as quickly as we had hoped. I would love to hear from you and get any tips you could share with me to drive more traffic to our site. FYI, we are totally bootstrapping this effort and have taken no outside investment.

    Thank you!

Wow - I see a lot of significant traffic increases and positive news. The fundraising / crowdfunding market seems quite saturated at the moment in terms of number of platforms so I wonder if traffic is just switching from platform to platform or if it's because of increased awareness of the crowdfunding opportunity. Possibly the topic of a new question...
