funding for a start-up

question Cloud Labor, Crowdfunding, Open Innovation
I have a relatively new business that is struggling financially. In order to offer a service that will be attractive to clients, I need funding for the building of a series of databases and web sites and also the employment of a marketing expert. Is there some way to obtain funding (investment or other) in the business? You can see part of what I do at

    Hi Barry
Sounds as if crowdfunding is the route forward for you. You need to know how much money you require and whether or not you want to go for the equity route (selling shares or parts of shares in your company in return for the money) or the reward model (offering treats or rewards in return for the money, with no equity release).
I'd be more than happy to have a Skype chat with you to offer some more advice or answer any questions you might have. Please drop me an email - - and let me know.
In the meantime, good luck with your business.

Have you tried 40Billion? If not, try to raise business funding (via gifts, private direct loans, or commercial paper) with your social network of friends and family.

Also, 40Billion offers affordable ways to advertise your business online and find new customers either within your network or across the Web.
