Information & analytics for bachelor thesis about crowdfunding

Hi folks,
currently I am writing my bachelor thesis about crowdfunding (with little focus on Kickstarter) and therefore am looking for any information & statistics about crowdfunding worldwide (and Kickstarter in particular). I am especially interested in market volumes or estimations, optionally in different countries, as well as estimated perspectives for future market sizes. Other important questions for me are more specific ones like international tax laws for crowdfunding, or product liabilities that are or could be caused by crowdfunding campaigns.
Luckily I already found a lot of information on this website and elsewhere online, but would be great to get some more information and insights the crowdsourced way.

    Timon, great questions! I don't believe the data is available at an aggregated market level but the leading sites might have their own estimates. I have reached out to IndieGoGo and Kickstarter to ask what they have. Get in touch with me and we'll see what we can do to help.
