In 2009, Gautam Raju, Eyal Halamish, Matthew Gordon and Linh Do had an idea to link people who were online with the people who make decisions about their communities. Their vision was to connect democracy with social media. Inspired by sites such as www.openaustralia.org, www.fixmystreet.com and Whitehouse 2.0 open for questions, tweetmp, and theyworkforyou.com, these chic geeks teamed up with Luke Giuliani to create OurSay, a website that gives you direct access to the people in charge.
