Description Red Blue Voice offers both a Crowdfunding and a Crowd Creativity tool for political and social groups as well as nonprofits. Any user can submit television, radio, print or online media to an issue or group portal that he or she is passionate about. When the community has voted that the media has met basic community standards, the media is opened up for Crowd Funding in local or national media markets. Brief business history Red Blue Voice was founded in January, 2011 by Josh Lucas, the Company’s current president. Mr. Lucas, a high school chemistry teacher by trade initially sought to create a portal where he could gather like-minded individuals to fund advertising campaigns that advocated for a scientific process free of politics. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, the Company considers itself to be the firsts social empowerment network, actively working to use the strength of social networking technologies to give a voice to millions of individuals who have been silenced by the political media machine.
Funding Red Blue Voice is currently raising its Series A funding after a successful friends and family round.
Success to date Having just come out of beta in March of 2012, Red Blue Voice has already solicited three nonprofit groups and populated over a dozen issue portals. The company successfully ran crowd-sourced ads in Iowa, Arizona and Pennsylvania during the Republican Primaries.
